





This exhibition brings together a selection of small and medium-sized paintings
format made with acrylic, oil, markers and chalk on canvas, paper and
MDF. The paintings are part of Teruya's artistic production, including
given between the years 2011 and 2024.
Between heaven and hell emerges as a project that portrays memory
visual of the artist as a leading element or spectator in various en-
social lathes.
From self-perception expressed through gesture and color to re-
presentation of marginal characters who travel through urban settings;
The city becomes the great theater of the world, and the streets and their stations
establishments in the spaces where life, death, love,
hatred, religion and disbelief.
The works of a fovista nature were conceived as part of a process
therapeutic in which the artist needed to communicate a thread of stories
linked by the everyday imagination, which highlights the heart as a piece
fundamental of the human mechanism.
In the words of the curator: «In his art, feeling and desire prevail
sincere for revealing the importance of love, expressed through the image
constant of the heart as a vital organ of life and as an icon of love and
"fragility."
